US Lacrosse Youth Memberships, which are required in order to play for the Cavaliers, can be obtained on-line at www.uslacrosse.org After submitting your on-line application and payment information, you will immediately receive a confirmation number which is not your membership number. Membership numbers and expiration dates are usually e-mailed to you within half an hour of your clicking the "submit" button. Youth memberships are valid for one year and cost around $25. You will receive some, but not all issues of Lacrosse Magazine, with your membership. There is an option towards the end of the on-line registration process which allows you to upgrade your youth membership and receive all issues of the magazine for an additional $15. You are only required to have the regular Youth Membership to sign up for the Cavaliers. Your membership term must be valid for the entire lacrosse season (October 1 through May 31st), which includes the practice season, the regular game season, and the playoffs. For example, if your membership expires in January, you will have to extend your membership another year to participate in the practice and pre-season activities. Current US Lacrosse memberships are required for all players for liability purposes.

The State of Texas does not include lacrosse as an officially-sanctioned school sport. However many lacrosse clubs have formed along the boundary lines of the high school. In anticipation of some day becoming a UIL sport, the organizers of lacrosse have formed the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL). The Greater Katy Area currently has three clubs loosely formed along high school boundary lines (Katy HS, Cinco Ranch HS, and Taylor HS). The Seven Lakes HS players have traditionally played on the Cinco Ranch team and will continue to do until such time as Seven Lakes forms its own team.
The Katy Cavaliers Lacrosse Club is the youth feeder program for all of the current high school-age club programs in the Greater Katy Area. An asterisk indicates which club programs have players who played previously with the Katy Cavalier Lacrosse Club:
